As we all know Apple has recently revealed the much awaited iPhone’s namely iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and the attention grabber iPhone X(iPhone 10). As expected for their 10th anniversary, they have announced an all-new X-series device which was not seen previously. Google is expanding it’s rejuvenated Android One program to encompass mid-tier devices and more partners. The company has changed the ground rules of the program which largely remained stuck with entry-level devices to all types of devices now. One of the results of this key changes is the appearance of an Android One powered Moto X4. The ever-reliable Evan Blass just posted the photo of a Moto X4 with Android One branding at the rear of the phone. The phone is expected to be the first Android One handset in the US. Now, Blass doesn’t say where the device will launch or when it will appear. However, a report from 9to5Google is of the strong opinion that a US launch is inevitable.
Gionee’s entry into the bezel-less segment will be through the Gionee M7. The phone getting leaked in the past weeks has made it obvious that this upcoming handset from Gionee will sport the new 18:9 aspect ratio that is on the new breed of thin bezel devices. Now we have official info that the launch is on September 25 due to some teasers. Earlier on, we saw some teasers that announced an invite for a certain Gionee M7 Power. That particular phone was to be launched on September 28. Now, it is unclear if Gionee has two variants of the phone or not and whether both will have separate launches, although that seems unlikely.
Coming back to the latest teasers, it clearly states the September 25 date. The poster also shows how much bezel-less the phone will be. One more thing to note is that the screen will not have rounded corners like the Galaxy S8. Instead, it will be the standard square sized box with sharp corners.
Another leak surfaced on Weibo today giving us tidbits of the specs of the device. The leak also shows a Gionee poster showing some specs like the 18:9 aspect ratio with 85% screen. It also alludes to something related to 3D. Perhaps, it will have some AR or VR capabilities. The handset is tipped to come with a MediaTek Helio P30 chip and be assisted by 6 GB RAM/64 GB ROM.
As far as the camera is concerned, dual shooters are not expected at the back. Instead, there might be a 16 MP sensor with autofocus and flash support. There are a lot of details still missing in the Gionee M7 jigsaw. But we should de in a position to clear the air after a week.
Let us know what you guys think about the Gionee M7. Do you think it will be a worthy phone? let us know in the comments below.
Whatsapp is currently one of the best messaging application in world and day by day their developers are adding new features through the updates. Earlier Whatsapp added a new feature of stories which was similar to that of the Instagram stories feature then a picture in picture mode feature, and now rumors are coming that the team of Whatsapp is working on a new feature called as “Delete For Everyone,” let’s check out that about what this feature does.
As you must know, in Instagram one can send messages to relatives and friends, but there are times when by mistake we send some appropriate information to an inappropriate person. To solve this problem, there is a feature in Instagram by which just tapping on a message gives you an Unsend option and using it you can delete that particular message for both parties. Whatsapp is also working on a similar feature.
This Whatsapp update will be made available to all the key platforms including iOS and Android. Rumors suggest that Whatsapp team is testing this feature on iOS-based devices and some people who have access to the BETA version have also claimed that this feature is present in the settings menu. In future when it will arrive, the user has too much time press the message he wants to unsent, and two options will appear Edit and Delete if you press delete then the message will disappear from the receiver’s device too.
The limitation to this feature will be that you can see only unsent the messages that have been sent in last 5 min and has not been seen by the receiver. The messages can be in the form of video, photos, documents, texts, etc.
So the latest version of Android has been officially named, and all the rumors have proved to be true as the name of the Android 8.0 is indeed Oreo.
